PiroPiro - Wharton's Cherry Jelly
When experimental pop musician PiroPiro released his debut album he asked me to create an animated music video for his opening track "Wharton's Cherry Jelly".
SYNOPSYS: In a fantastical uterine environment we witness the birth of a weird creature whose life begins as an egg floating in primordial soup and develops into a complex organism which eventually hopes to become human.
Monoculus tadpoles and mutant bacteria are food for the beast who violently assembles its complex organic tissue by chewing and digesting everything in its surroundings, dancing among hifi sound textures, primitive rhythms and dumb arpeggiators.
